Itinerary description
If you like rock hoping, try this 1.7km walk along South Maroochy River. Start your walk from the Rocky Creek crossing on Kiamba Rd. Follow the entry path down into the riverbed then head south along its rocky water line. There are plenty of rock pools to soak in and boulders to climb as you weave your way along the river bed. Be careful after rain as it will be very slippery amongst the rocks. After 700m you will reach a fence which is the start of private farm land so turn west and walk 200m through the scrub to emerge back on Kiamba Rd. From here, its a short walk along the road to your starting point. For further information, check out our Facebook hiking site- "Take A Hike- Qld".https://goo.gl/maps/ADVKQaWXbsdFh4RM6
