Itinerary description
This lovely rainforest trail gets few visitors, since the trailhead is a few miles down gravel forest roads. It's almost level, paralleling the South Fork Hoh River, but mostly out of view of the river itself. The trail seems pretty well maintained, with large blowdowns cleared, but some brush overgrowing the trail. The trail ends about 4.4 miles from the trailhead.
I camped at the South Fork Hoh campground, a DNR site that requires a Discover Pass. It's a nice, small campground with 7 sites, but you need to supply your own water.
