Itinerary description
From Sougia take a boat to Tripiti (we payed 40 euro for our own boat taxi in October 2020).
Follow the E4 trail (black/yellow marks). Stay to the left in the gorge and after 5-10 minutes there is a sign towards Sougia. Now ascending 300m for 1km. On the top, there is ruins of a Venetian fortress. It's possible to take a little detour to the chapel of Prophet Elias set 400m above the Libyan sea (about 500m distance. This path has red marking).
The path to Sougia is well marked and offers really nice scenery.

We did the hike from Sougia to Tripiti, we went up to Profitis Elias. It took us 5 hours, breaks, Profitis Elias and photos breaks included. It was magnificent. We arranged in Sougia for a pick up at tripiti where we went into water. The guy came on time and we paid 40 euros.
