Itinerary description
This is a beautiful walk from the pleasant little town of Sougia to the ancient site of Lissos, which served as a port and health spa from Doric times until the Byzantine era. While it's a short hike on the well-marked E4 trail, you should allow plenty of time because it's rough and rocky. The most beautiful part of the hike comes just after you leave Sougia and ascend Lissos Gorge, with its high vertical red walls and verdant pine forest.
