It took me 8 hours for the trail, including one hour rest at domata (i had only a light bag with me, carrying just water and some food). A little bit dangerous are the descends from tripiti and down to agia roumeli, lots of loose gravel.

I have done this trip on 20/09/2018 in 10h30 with a heavy bag (20kg including 4.5 liters of water).
Don't miss the small chapel of Profitis helias on the top of Tripiti cape, the view is absolutly fantastic.
It is really a very hard and beautiful trek, far from the crowds.

I walked from Sougia to Agia Romelinon on 15.09.21.
It took me 6hours and 45 minutes.
I took two breaks of about 5 minutes each.
It was quite warm. It's a dry nice hike, though. The last 1/3 is quite demanding end not so nice actually.
There is no possibility to refel your water on your way.
I suggest to take a mimimum of 4 litres of water per person.
Last ferry from Agia Arimeli to Sougia goes at 17:30.
