Itinerary description
Sosoyskloof is a really lovely hike with a steep 700 meter accent via a series of switch backs early in the hike followed by a gentle path with epic views.
Steep drops into the valley below make it unsuitable for small children.
The waterfall is a real treat about halfway through and the descent is gentle.
Despite the fire here in February 2021 that left most of the protea burned out there are nice grasses and wildflowers and most of the big trees survived and are covered in foliage again.
