Wandeling van Solin naar fort Klis.
Het Klis-fort is een middeleeuws fort gelegen boven een dorp met dezelfde naam, in de buurt van Split.
Op de steile kliffen van de kloof tussen Kozjak en Mosor staat het Klis-fort met uitzicht op zee en op Zagora. Het werd gebouwd op een buitengewone strategische locatie die militaire en commerciële controle over het hele Kliska-veld en het gebied van Salona en Split mogelijk maakt. Vanwege het belang ervan werd Klis vaak de sleutel tot Dalmatië en het hart van het middeleeuwse Kroatische koninkrijk genoemd.

Die Festung Klis ist eine mittelalterliche Festung, die sich über dem gleichnamigen Dorf in der Nähe von Split befindet.
Auf den steilen Klippen der Schlucht zwischen Kozjak und Mosor steht die Festung Klis mit Blick auf das Meer und Zagora. Es wurde an einem außergewöhnlichen strategischen Ort gebaut, der die militärische und kommerzielle Kontrolle über das gesamte Kliska-Feld und das Gebiet von Salona und Split ermöglicht. Aufgrund seiner Bedeutung wurde Klis oft als der Schlüssel zu Dalmatien und das Herz des mittelalterlichen kroatischen Königreichs bezeichnet.

The Klis Fortress is a medieval fortress located above a village of the same name, near Split.
On the steep cliffs of the gorge between Kozjak and Mosor stands the Klis fortress overlooking the sea and Zagora. It was built in an extraordinary strategic location that allows military and commercial control over the entire Kliska field and the area of Salona and Split. Due to its importance, Klis was often referred to as the key to Dalmatia and the heart of the medieval Croatian kingdom.

La Fortaleza de Klis es una fortaleza medieval ubicada sobre un pueblo del mismo nombre, cerca de Split.
En los escarpados acantilados del desfiladero entre Kozjak y Mosor se encuentra la fortaleza de Klis que domina el mar y Zagora. Fue construido en una ubicación estratégica extraordinaria que permite el control militar y comercial sobre todo el campo de Kliska y el área de Salona y Split. Debido a su importancia, a menudo se hacía referencia a Klis como la llave de Dalmacia y el corazón del reino Croata medieval.

Tvrđava Klis je srednjovjekovna utvrda koja se nalazi iznad istoimenog sela u blizini Splita.
Na strmim liticama klanca između Kozjaka i Mosora uzdiže se Kliška utvrda s pogledom na more i Zagoru. Sagrađena je na izuzetnom strateškom položaju koji omogućuje vojni i gospodarski nadzor nad cijelim Kliskim poljem te područjem Salone i Splita. Zbog svoje važnosti Klis se često nazivao ključem Dalmacije i srcem srednjovjekovnog hrvatskog kraljevstva.

The Jadro River - locally called Rika. Rika was the only river with abundant water all year round in the large area that stretched from Šibenik to Omiš and thus became the regional center of the miller's trade. ============================== Der Jadro-Fluss - local Rika genannt. Gašpina mlinica

De molen "Gašpina mlinica" is een van de weinige bewaard gebleven molens aan de rivier de Jadro. Het werd gebouwd in het begin van de 18e eeuw en de eerste vermeldingen ervan dateren uit 1711. De structuur bestaat uit vier lage gebouwen op een rij met zadeldaken bedekt met stenen platen. Door de eeuwen heen is de structuur aangepast en opgewaardeerd, wat blijkt uit de later gecreëerde ramen aan de gevel. ============================== Die Mühle „Gašpina Mlinica“ ist eine der wenigen erhaltenen Mühlen am Fluss Jadro. Es wurde Anfang des 18. Jahrhunderts erbaut und die ersten Aufzeichnungen stammen aus dem Jahr 1711. Das Gebäude besteht aus vier Flachbauten in einer Reihe mit Satteldächern, die mit Steinplatten gedeckt sind. We zien het dorpje Klis met daar boven op de klif het fort van Klis. (Ook bekend door de serie "Game of Thrones.") Het fort van Klis vormde een cruciaal onderdeel in de bescherming van Split, dankzij haar strategische ligging in een bergpas tussen de Mosor en Kozjak gebergtes. Via het fort had men controle over de toegang tot de Dalmatische kust via het binnenland. Vele heersers hebben er gebruik van gemaakt, van de Dalmatae in de 2e eeuw voor Christus tot aan de Duitsers tijdens de Tweede Wereldoorlog. Het fort wordt niet voor niets ‘de sleutel tot Dalmatië‘ genoemd. Door de eeuwen heen is het fort de basis geweest van Kroatische hertogen en koningen en zelfs de kruisridders. Maar ook de Mongolen, Ottomanen en de Venetiërs hebben het fort op verschillende momenten in de geschiedenis in handen gehad. ============================== Wir sehen das Dorf Klis mit der Festung Klis auf der Klippe.
