Itinerary description

Parking lot for Soldier's Pass is gated and only open to private vehicles Mon-Wed from 8am-6pm. Lot capacity is 14 cars and a line forms outside the gate around 7:15. 3 porta potties. You can also park at Posse Grounds Park and Ride, which is an easy walk 1.2 miles away. Thu-Sun a shuttle runs from Posse Grounds Park and Ride, schedule posted at the stop.

Easy hike with well marked trails to Devil's Kitchen to see the sink hole, pass by Seven Sacred Pools (pretty dry when we went), and continue on to the cave. A quick climb into the cave, but a bit of a wait for other people as there's only one way in/out.

We decided not to complete the rest of the trail due to time constraints as well as a minor injury from the previous day's hike (hence the super slow pace), but this trail connects to a few other trails as well if you have more time.
