Itinerary description
Snowdon, Watkin Path up to the summit and then down part of the South Ridge, then continue down the Rhyd Ddu Path, then back to the Watkin Path to complete a loop. Take care in poor weather on the scree near the end of the Watkin Path, it can be quite harsh on the legs at this point, and it can be quite easy to get disoriented. Remind yourself you are going up to join the South Ridge up to the summit. Also, be aware that the South Ridge has a couple of exposed ridge selections on the way down, if your unsure then go back down the Watkins Path.
