Itinerary description
Nice journey towards Snowdon starting from Nant Gwynant car park.
I was suggested the Watkin route because you walk along a valley and waterfalls. Excellent decision.
The path is well marked during all the way.
The last 500 m, upwards, are quite steep.
For going down I decided to take Rhyd Du path downwards and come back to the valley across the other mountain ridge towards Yr Aran. Once again very easy to follow the path (Just when I was going down after crossing the Yr Aran sheep fence, while walking next to the stone wall I came down too early (about 100m before the path) but rejoined again just some 300m after next to the copper mines)).
Be careful!! The weather in the mountain can change very swiftly!
In my case was sunny day that evolved in very foggy day.
