Itinerary description
The plan was a winters walk up Logans Ridge and down South East Ridge on Mt Barney.
Forecast was for clear cold and windy conditions. As the wind was from the west we expected to be sheltered from the worst.
All went well, with great views from Logans on the way up.
As we reached the summit the cloud cover blew in and snow flakes started to drift down.
A few patches of snow lay on the ground on East Peak.
We had a brief cold lunch on the summit and then headed down SE ridge.
