One of the many opportunities to climb Smolin from Blatnica. All trails are unmarked, but there are numerous combinations of forest paths and hiking meadow trails.
During the hike, and from the top of Veliki Smolin, there is a beautiful view of the valley of Velika Usora and the town of Teslić, and you can see Mahnjača, Trogir, Vučja planina, Brićko brdo, Vlašić, Očauš, Urljaj, Borja, Ljubić, Motajica, Trebava, Ozren , Majevica, Matinski vis, Konjuh, Tajan near Zavidovići, Bjelašnica, Lisac above Zenica and Vepar above Vranduk.
There are no springs right next to the trail, but you pass through abandoned or semi-abandoned hamlets where we believe there are springs and wells, but they are not known to us.

Immediately before the final ascent to Veliki Smolin, an area suspected of minefields was found. Before the final turn north uphill, you will come across a sign warning of the proximity of minefields. From that point, do not move to the right towards Mahnjača or straight towards Krš.

Da li je velika opasnost od mina pri usponu? Da li se ide nekim putem ili stazom?
Хасане, колико ми знамо, у оном тренутку када уочите таблу упозорења и скренете лијево (на сјевер, узбрдо) нема опасности. Даље узбрдо нема нарочите стазе, није утабана, није означена, него се просто крећете косином брда како вам се чини најпрактичније. Док се пењете ка врху, мински сумњива подручја биће вам са десне (источне) стране на удаљености од стотињак или више метара.
Hvala ti. To mu je vjerojatno jedini prilaz. Bio sam na Velikom visu, ali je nemoguće zbog mina produžiti prema Smolinu.
