Itinerary description
Concealed between the banks of the Great Blind, tributary of the Vienne, the trail crosses landscapes and farmland on a undulating relief which is known locally as "Petite Suisse", Little Switzerland.
From Mouterre-sur-Blourde, a charming little village on the borders of Haute Vienne and Limousin, the walk is along hedges and groves where wildlife abounds and you should be able to observe shrikes (butcher birds). Fauna and a flora of an exceptional diversity populate the landscapes. The walk goes right past Deer Valley where you have the opportunity to visit the farm and buy local game and other products.
There is a restaurant on this trail.
