Itinerary description
Here’s a very informative history of Sly Park and Jenkinson Lake: https://www.edcgov.us/landing/Living/Stories/Pages/jenkinson_lake.aspx
This is an easily followed, well-trodden trail. You will see signage for “hiker trails” and “bikers/horse trails” that intersect every so often, but both trails reconnect sooner or later. I took some of each just for the fun of it.
This is a heavily used multi-use trail during high-season, but we only passed about 10 people and 1 bike during this beautiful Fall day.
