The path to Mount Boc, a nature reserve, begins from Zgornje Poljčane.
The uphill route is in the undergrowth and the heat is felt. The advantage of the climb is the silence that reigns and allows you to observe nature and listen to sounds. The path is of beaten earth, made a little less easy by stones and tree roots. Every now and then there are flat stretches that make us catch our breath.
You arrive at the refuge in the middle of green meadows. After the break, you continue the climb, still in the woods, and you reach the somewhat strange summit: it is characterized by a pylon and you go up to admire the view or perhaps better to imagine the borders of the states: Austria, Italy, Hungary, Serbia. We take the descent to return to the refuge for a long relaxing stop.
We continue further, the slippery slope becomes treacherous and with great care we reach the bus.
