SLO 03-Garganta de Vintgar // Vintgar gorge

<<< English follows >>> La ruta de la garganta de Vintgar es absolutamente prescindible si buscas senderos tranquilos y naturales. Se encuentra al norte del lago de Bled y es una ruta de pago, totalmente preparada para todos los públicos, con barandillas, escaleras, puentes y pasarelas. La ruta está saturada de gente, al menos en julio. Gente descalza, con chancletas y hasta con muletas. Tanta gente hace que se formen colas en muchos lugares para que se saquen los consabidos selfis. El coche se puede dejar en el parking que hay junto a la entrada sur. No te cobran por dejar el coche pero sí por hacer la ruta. Cuidado, hay muchas avispas en la taquilla sur. Y pican; lo sé por experiencia. Desgraciademente hasta aquí ha llegado la absurda moda de amontonar piedras haciendo hitos. Al llegar a la taquilla norte nosotros optamos por tomar un camino a la derecha, por unas escaleras, que indica Katarina/Bled. La vuelta es por un precioso hayedo, lo mejor del día. Buen piso de tierra, suave. Aunque se va a la sombra puede hacer calor porque estamos a poca altitud. Al salir del bosque hay un tranquilo y agradable bar. Desde el bar sólo hay que seguir bajando hacia el aparcamiento, caminando hacia el suroeste mientras se ve Bled, el castillo de Bled y la iglesia de san Martín. <<>> The Vintgar gorge route is absolutely dispensable if you are looking for calm and natural trails. It is located north of Lake Bled and is a payment route, fully prepared for all kind of people, with railings, stairs, bridges and walkways. The route is saturated with people, at least in July. People barefoot, with flip-flops and even with crutches. So many people provoke queues in many places while they take selfies. The car can be left in the parking lot next to the south entrance. They do not charge you for leaving the car but they do for the route. Watch out, there are a lot of wasps at the South Ticket Office. And they bite; I know from experience. Unfortunately, the absurd fashion of stacking stones simulating milestones has reached this route. When arriving at the North Ticket Office we opted to take a path to the right, following a few stairs, which indicates Katarina/Bled. The return is through a beautiful beech forest, the best of the day. Good floor, soft. Although the path goes in the shade it can be hot because we are at low altitude. On leaving the forest there is a quiet and pleasant bar. From the bar you only have to keep going down to the parking lot, walking towards the southwest while you see Bled, Bled castle and the church of St. Martin.
