Slieve League (Ireland): up to the summit it took 2.20 hours.
Climb, in good weather, to one of the most emblematic summits in the north of Ireland, Slieve League (601 m), from where some of the highest cliffs in Europe hang: Bunglass. A beautiful, fantastic route, with breathtaking views, both the ocean and inland.
Start from the car park of Cunniltragh, where the platform with panoramic view to the Bunglass, and return by the Pilgrims Path ('road of the pilgrims'), to the town of Teelin, to make the circular route. From Teelin to the car park of Cunniltragh (last section of the route) you go by tertiary road (about 2-3 km).
Whoever wants to can make the round trip (avoiding the return by Pilgrims Path), more usual alternative and that saves some time.
The itinerary followed avoids crossing the One Man's Pass ('Paso de una sola persona'), a famous vertiginous section by a cornice, with a fall on both sides.
The most complicated area of the ascent is a scree located about 25 minutes from the top, which requires, sometimes, to rest your hands on the rock to advance, although there is no climbing or climbing. Crossing this section takes 20-30 minutes, which can be complicated, as the whole route in general, on rainy days (muddy ground and slippery stone) or with fog, which can cause location problems.
