SLAV SLAVICA AND LAKE BOHINJ
Prologue: It is an easy route that can be done as we did it or arrive by car to the entrance booth to access the road that takes you to the waterfall in 15 minutes taking a short walk.
The starting point (Ukanc) is about 31.4 km from Bled.
The waterfall is located within the Triglav National Park and is one of the most important waterfalls in Slovenia.
Description: We start the route by leaving the car in the free parking in front of the Gostisce Erlah restaurant (Ukanc) near Lake Bohinj.
From this starting point we take the option to go up the path on the left of the river Socava, following the signs and signs that take us through the forest and with a gentle rise until we come to the road that in 2 km takes us to the parking lot where we find ourselves with a bar restaurant and about 500 meters away with the entrance booth where we get the tikets (€ 3 per person).
We pass the bridge over the river and following the information panels we go along the road that for the most part is stepped with many landings and viewpoints on the river until you reach a wooden pavilion / gazebo from which you have beautiful views towards the waterfall and towards the valley.
The return we made the same way to the parking next to the tikets and before reaching the bar restaurant we took our left across the bridge over the river.
Without loss we follow the dirt track that descends and on the other side of the river it takes us to the edge of the Boinj river, ending in a beautiful green meadow where we relax for a while.
In order to delight ourselves with the landscape we make a small tour along the lake shore, from which we observe our next objective "The Vogel cable car" that will take us to the summit and the ski slopes.
We returned to the aforementioned meadow and following the shore of the lake we reached the mouth of the river, crossed the bridge and arrived at the parking lot at the beginning of the route,
Since the arrival time is around 14 h. We have taken the opportunity to eat at the Gostisce Erlah restaurant where we ate very well and economically.
After eating and resting for a while, we drive to the parking of the cable car Vogel (€ 12 per person), less than 1 km, and climb to the ski station at 1500 meters (one of the most popular in Slovenia) . While we go up with the cable car and from the station we see wonderful views of the lake, the valleys and the mountains that surround it. We were lucky that the day was clear and we could see the summit of Triglav Peak with 2863 meters of altitude, the highest in the country.
We participate: Palmira, Nico, Maruja, Juan, Loli and Joan

Muchas gracias Silvana.
Este pequeño país tiene lugares preciosos.
Un saludo
