Slap Banina Učka

At the entrance to the tunnel Učka from the Rijeka side there is a parking lot that comes by turning to the right, so the underpass comes to the other side of the zigzag. From that place the forest path leads us towards Učka just above the tunnel itself. We pass by a private property that is arranged so that at the entrance we can immediately see which wooden bears but also for which wild boar.
Immediately on that part as we follow the stream, we can hear the magical noise of water and the twitter of birds in the beech forest around us.
In several places to the fall, we cross over to the other side of the stream. The track is well marked and there is no mistake.
The stream was created by the fact that it is the water flowing over the level of drinking water in the area of Rijeka and Opatija. All the accumulated water over the level, left in the basin that made it and forms one of the most beautiful scenery, I am a waterfall named Banin and many other smaller waterfalls and cascades in the further flow of the basin. Starting from the parking lot to the slope comes in less than an hour.
The end of Banpa's fall is the statue of Our Lady.
Along the stream we return to the intersection of the road. We decide not to return to the canyon because we want to round the trail. We head for the Poklon and arrive at the signpost for ten minutes.and follow the road towards Dobrek, Iki. Our stream ends its way in the sea in Ika (a small place between Opatija and Lovran). From the signpost to the exit on a wide stretch of road, it's only ten minutes. The road leads us with several private estates with small forest houses.
After about three km of walking along the road we come to the place where the stream passes below the road and where we have previously turned to the narrow path. We have about five hundred meters in the car.
