There is a nice forest path leading up to the valley. Where the path touches the river we tried to get down in the river bed, however were stopped after 300 m when the river was falling down to deep to climb through without further equipment. We turned back to the path, went a bit down and scrawled through thorny bushes back to the river bed. Walking the river bed (dried completely out during the summer months) is an exhausting climbing up and down excersise. We came to an aprupt stop approx. 500 m befor the end of the canyon: the rock walls on both sides became very narrow and the falling distance of the water bed is mor than 6 m at this point, which is quite risky without proper equipment. So we had to climb back until the picnic place on the south side of the river and found a path ourt of the river bed back to the trail we came in. Be aware of water level and falling stones!
