Itinerary description
Quite nice trail that takes you from Convento Capuchos down to Lagoa Azul in Sintra.
Similar to another route here but I thought I'd post this one anyway as logging and forest clearing has changed the paths quite significantly recently, making some old passages blocked.
Also note that the northbound road from Malveira Da Serra toward Capuchos has suddenly changed to an emergency access road only, so access via car needs to be from any other direction than from the south.

A very nice walk with beautiful nature and some charming old house ruins along the way. We had a break for a snack in the shade by the lagoon which was lovely. Highly recommend the walk and the guide!
