Itinerary description
A short hike on the cliffs west of Azóia.
Can recommend the hike as an introduction to walking on the slightly wilder, unmaintained paths around the national park. The route stops short of going on any of the more dangerous paths on the steep cliff edges.
There is only one slightly tricky descent on a very loose and rocky path in the beginning. Without that, it would be rated as an easy walk. It can be avoided by taking the northern part of the loop both there and back.
Also beware of sudden gusts when close to cliff edges. And shorts is not recommended, as the disused logging access roads have started getting a lot of thorny brush on them.
