Itinerary description
I liked this stretch better than the SL5, done last year. Karlskrona - Löddeköpinge.

Here the terrain is mixed and every 7/8km you pass a small fisherman village. Perhaps the almost 9km on the sandy beach from Spraggehusen to Sandhammarens Fyr are tough, and made in the summertime, with the heat it can be rather exhausting (I should recommend GTX shoes and sand gaiters, otherwise the sand will enter your shoes). You can do half on the beach and when you reach the intersection A (see photo) you can follow the little path into the woods of Mälarhusen (then take left onto Östrabacka vägen), this will take you to Sandhammaren. The part in the woods of Hagestads naturreservat from Sandhammaren to Löderups Strandbad, is really beautiful (and shady). In the intersection B (see photo) I took the path to the right(Crossing Backåkra), but if you go to the left you will enter the little hamlet of Löderups strandbad. In the summertime the bars/cafè are open and the bus stops functioning.
(it might be a taxi service and you have to call and book 2h in advance)
To get to Simrishamn there is trains every hour from Malmö C, but check in advance as there might be road works. The Skånetrafiken are boosting up the train lines in all Skåne.
I highly recommend to use their app: "Skånetrafiken" for your travels around Skåne

Lovely hike. The suggestion to use the old trail between Skillinge and Brandtvik is perfect. Recommended...
Thank you for reviewing my track. I will update about the trains.
