Itinerary description

We got a ride up to the start, but you can walk there from the end point easily. Take the trail marked with the yellow triangle uphill (steep) to a meadow where you intersect with another trail with a Red Cross to the waterfall. The waterfall is an optional in/out and back to the trail intersection where you turn onto the trail with the blue triangle traversing across a meadow and into the woods for another steep incline until you reach the second meadow where you can taste some cheese in exchange for a few cigarettes (seriously!) From here you follow the blue triangle signs through the undulating meadow until you reach a big rock after a trail sign with blue and red triangles. Pay attention here and carefully make your way down the path through short pines and over a spring before coming to another trail sign white/red/white stripe that takes you past the abandoned hunting lodge and gently descends back to the main road. There is a turn off just before the lodge onto a white/blue/white striped trail that will take you to the starting point if bad weather rolls in.
