Itinerary description

Not to bad at all, leaving Silver strand head 1 km up the road until you come to widening on the turn in the road to the left, go right up the farm trail go through the gate , and if you can see the valley between the mountains head for it, otherwise a bearing of 115 will bring you in. Head on up the field keeping the river on your right follow or stay parallel to it until you reach the valley head on up you'll find the trail , it's a very safe hike upwards. You'll come to some stone markers keep following these up. It's about 40mins from the top of the valley, make sure to stay right of the ridge, as there's a steep drop ..
