Itinerary description
From Tamellalt, take the dirt track from the village. Turn left at the wheat field, go down to the river and cross over the log. After that the track is pretty clear unto the gorge. In the gorge you'll have pretty clear tracks in the beginning, but as you progress after the first few times you have to wade through the river the track becomes less clear and it's more of a find-your-own-way through the river, mud, bushes and rocks. We had to backtrack a few times to find the best way through the river parts, as you should be able to find spots to cross/follow it no more than waist deep.
We did this wearing hiking shoes to the gorge, flipflops in the gorge and back to the hiking shoes after we left the river, but doing it on water shoes or hiking shoes that can get wet would be better.
