Itinerary description

By dirt road Katharo to Lasithi plateau or backward is Varsamis fountain, ascend from road to fountain and continue by the obvious path from shepherds all side of mountain. Nice trail at unknown area with many ruins from past and view to Lasithi , Potamoi valley , Selena mt.
Bit steep in some points and some crossing above cliffs but always by path. You can continue up to mt and to continue to Tsivi summit or Varsamis or to reach Katharo plateau. We are just cross the side and from top of Aloida field descend to thereand by road back to starting point.

Στα πλευρά του Βαρσάμη ,την πηγή του και τις υπέροχες παλιές μάντρες ,ερείπια πια.
Μονοπάτι από τους βοσκούς οδηγεί πάνω στο βουνό ,πρός τις κορυφές η στο Καθαρό διαμέσου του βουνού ,η κατεβαίνει στην Αλόιδα όπως και κάναμε και με τοδρόμο πίσω.
Πολύ ωραία διαδρομή στα ίχνη της παλιάς ποιμενικής ζωής με κάποια περάσματα από γκρεμούς αλλά χωρίς ιδιαίτερο πρόβλημα.
Νερό στο Βαρσάμη και στην Αλόιδα.
