Itinerary description

For the first time in Italy, a two-week holiday in Sicily: maybe the weather wasn't great, but still we could make the planned walk every day and had a great time.
On the first day we made a short walk, but with a steep and constant climb form Castelmola to Monte Venere. Already during the climb we got an ever wider view, finalized at the top with a great view over Taormina, Castelmola and Giardini Naxos. Low hanging clouds prevented us to see Mount Etna clearly, as well as the only partial views to the north and the mainland. But it certainly was worth the effort to come to the top.
