Itinerary description
Starting from the road car park head up the trail and follow the well/trodden path
Head on past the big cairn and down mother hump
Head through the pass towards the adventure camp, and if you need WC there is one on the right hand side as you arrive to the adventure camp near the picnic area
Stick to the wadi on the left side of the bank that adventure camp sits on and follow the wadi bed. There is no marked path/trail. When we did this there was a lot of crystal clear running water
The turn to cut across into the wadi is half hidden between some rocks, we missed it first time :s that’s the little dead end sticking out on this recorded trail (beautiful to carry on if you want a longer route, there is a pass further down to cross to the pool wadi)
Head over/through the mountain to get to the next wadi where the well-known pools are. Note there are 2 tiny climbs down cross between the wadis
Head back towards adventure camp and enjoy the many pools and small waterfalls on the way, to get past the last main pool, you need to turn off to the left and go into a side wadi and climb up onto the big mud bank. Stay well away from the edge and hold any kids hands
Once back at adventure camp, head on the keep track past the mobile phone tower and re-join the mother hump loop. This takes you along the side of the mountain and the dam, and back to the dam car park
