მყინვარისკენ მიმავალი მარშრუტი კურ. შოვში იწყება და მდ. ბუბასწყლის ხეობას მოიყვება. დასაწყისიდან 700 მ-ის შემდეგ გზა მკვეთრად უხვევს მარცხნივ, აღმართს მიუყვება და გაშლილ ფერდობზე გადის. ამ მონაკვეთზე შეგხვდებათ მონასტრის ნანგრევებისკენ მიმავალი გადასახვევი და სურვილის შემთხვევაში მათ მონახულებასაც შეძლებთ (ბილიკიდან 80 მ-ში). ფერდობის შემდეგ მარშრუტი მეცხვარეთა სადგომს გაივლის და თხემზე ადის, საიდანაც შთამბეჭდავი პანორამა იშლება მყინვარსა და მის შემოგარენზე. თხემის დასასრულთან ბილიკი მარჯვნივ, ქვემოთ ეშვება და მყინვარის ენასთან ჩადის. აქედან მარშრუტი იგივე გზის გავლით, კვლავ შოვში ბრუნდება.

შენიშვნა: გთხოვთ სათანადო აღჭურვილობის, უნარ-ჩვევების და/ან გამყოლის გარეშე არ შეეცადოთ მყინვარზე შესვლას და მწვერვალისკენ გზის გაგრძელებას!

Duration: 7 h.
The route starts at the res. Shovi and goes along the gorge of river Bubastskali. Within 700 m from the start, the trail sharply turns left, goes along the rise and reaches the open slope. At this section you will get to the junction from where the trail leads toward the remnants of the monastery and you can visit the place as well (80 m from the main trail). After the slope, the route passes shepherds’ summer hut and ascends the ridge, from where you can enjoy an impressive panorama on the Buba Glacier and its vicinity. At the end of the ridge, the trail turns right, descends and finishes at the tongue of the glacier. From the glacier, passing the same way, the trail returns back to Shovi.

Note: Without proper equipment, skills and/or guide, do not try to enter the glacier and continue the path toward the peak!
