Itinerary description
Short hike around the town of Alcácer do Sal to the castle. Starting from a free camperspot at the south side of the river, we’re taking the pedestrian bridge to the industrial side of the town.
Walking along the narrow streets we head up towards the castle. Once reaching the castle walls we decided to go right to the Baloiço Alcácer velhinha where you have some nice views of the river and it’s castle walls.
Checking out the church and the Torre do Relógio, the watchtower we head back the steep and narrow passages to the river.
After Igreja de Santiago, we follow the boulevard to the Ponte de Alcácer do Sal and cross the river again to our camperspot again.
