Easy walk from the Shirogane Blue Pond, where you can leave your car in the car park, to the Shorahige Waterfall. Both attractions are connected by a smooth forest road. The Shirogane Blue Pond is a lake with blue waters where the trunks of living and dead trees are reflected, better under the sunlight. Shorahige Waterfall is a waterfall that fans down the side of a canyon and is currently only viewable from a footbridge from above. Next to the bridge there is also an evacuation tunnel with stairs up the mountain, built to serve as an evacuation route in the event of a volcanic eruption. Entrance is free. There are basic restaurants and vending machines in the area, which is quite touristy.
