This route, round trip and entirely on an elevated wooden path without stairs, is the shortest that can be done in the area (besides this there are two other longer options). Admission is free and you can leave your car in the parking lot next door (parking cost 500 Yen). The wooden path takes us over bamboo fields with views of the sea, small lakes and some forest in the vicinity. The elevated wooden walkway is protected by an electric fence against possible bear entrances. Very touristy point with many people from different countries.
