Itinerary description
This is one of the best spots I've found whilst exploring Main Range. The ridge line would make a spectacular campsite, offering sunrise views to the East, and views of the falls which would be lit up in the morning sun. The circuit starts 10 km along the Winder/Mt Mistake track accessed via the Mt Castle carpark. The circuit while short is hard work with lots of bush bashing and steep grades. The Eucalypt sections have been severely affected by recent drought and bush fires. I've linked to some drone footage which hopefully gives a sense of the grandeur of the place.
