This trail can be hiked as a short hiking activity that includes minor bouldering, little scrambling, great views, stairs, trail and serenity.

In spite of short distance and less elevation gains, this hike has its own little challenges and not suitable for fresh beginners as the path is very uneven, through loose rocks, boulders, sharp stones and more than half of this hike is without a established path.

Good sole hiking boots ( preferably ankle high due to uneven surfaces ) and hand gloves will be beneficial at places along with hiking poles will assist on the way back.

The start of the trailhead is very next to Jais road, about 2 Kms before the Wadi Shah / Bear Grylls.

There is a small exit on the right side sloping down into the Wadi, where you can park few cars.
Please don't block the road.

Initially you walk through the embankment constructed as water breakers in the Wadi and soon you will see the steep rockfall area in the right along with a dry waterfall.
There is a faintly visible path through the loose rocks area that will lead you up via zigzag route.

Soon you will find a much stable and manmade rocky staircase that will lead you all the way to the Shihha village.
This village has some goats and birds being raised. You may find few farmhands here.
Most of the village is a fenced property, you will have to cross through the first farm through the gate, please remember to close the gates behind you.

Once in the village, we explored the mountain behind the village, reaching the summit area just in time for sunrise.

We returned back the same way back, although there are other options of exploration of difficult grade due to the mountain terrain and absence of any trail.

Hike Smart, Enjoy Safely:
Plan, Prepare, Pack:

Research: Understand the terrain, potential wildlife, and hiking risks. Learn about hydration, first aid, and remote activity protocols.

Assess Fitness: Be honest with yourself and your group. Don't overestimate abilities.

Pack Smart: Bring essentials like water, snacks, navigation tools, communication devices, and first-aid kits. Follow HSE guidelines.

Respect the Environment: Leave no trace. Take all your rubbish back with you.

Remember:
Wikiloc is only a guide: GPS recordings can be inaccurate, especially in wadis. Trust your judgment and be prepared for deviations.

Safety First: Don't put yourself or your group at risk. Turn back if necessary. Prioritize safety over completing the hike.

Learn from Others: Recent incidents are reminders of the importance of preparation. Make informed decisions based on knowledge and caution.
