The departure is on the left of the hotel-restaurant in front of Lake Wapta. The beginning of the trail is indicated by a sign and the whole hike is marked.
It takes 30 minutes to walk in the forest to reach the junction towards the lookout where we did not go. We continue to climb quietly another 30 minutes to reach the lake. Even on a cloudy day, which was the case the day we did this hike, it is very beautiful.
Until the lake, there is 3.4 km with a height difference of 190 m.
Then we go along the lake, which is very pleasant before climbing again to reach a beautiful waterfall which is 5.4 km from the start.
We walked a little further to reach the first meadows, which are not particularly beautiful to see; it started to rain and we turned around.
Conclusion: Hiking that I recommend if there is enough time in Lake Louise to do Lake Agnes and Six Glaciers.
