Itinerary description

Leave Shenako village and turn to the left down on the car road. Follow the car road, it hairpins on the left hillside. You can notice fundamentals of old winter houses on the left, which used to belong earlier to Aguerta. In approx. 400 meters you reach Aguerta – ruins of old village on the left of the car road. Keep to the car road, cross a shaly field. After the field the road disappears in another such field. Turn left before the second field down the path, which leads in zigzags down the hill. After approx. 20 metres of descending turn right and you go down the shaly field like this. Follow the path in the same direction up the hill. Keep following the path on the contour line, do not turn away (nor to the left, nor to the right), only slightly up or down due to windbreaks but still keep to the left hillside on its contour line. The path then at the hill edge turns left down the hill and turns afterwards to the right, ending up on the car road. Take the car road to the left down, following the zigzag road to the river. Cross the river via the brigde.
And continue following the zigzag road to Omalo (a spring of water on the zigzag road N 42°21´48,4´´ E 045°38´40,9´´, height above sea level 1701 m). On the crossroad, after you leave the forest, turn right up, following the lane.
