Itinerary description
This is a fairly shot linear tour from Shadwell (reached by the #7S bus from Leeds) to the A61 at Wikefield Farm, where the #36 bus can be caught back to Leeds.
Navigation is very straightforward: the only place where I had any difficulty was the field immediately after the double stile. The route here is diagonally across the field to the left-hand corner of the field where it can be exited.
The stretch between Tarn Lane and Wyke Ridge Lane is a little overgrown in places and there are some places where it is quite muddy.
The route across Leeds Golf Centre does not involve crossing any of the links, so you are in little to no danger of being hit by a flying golf ball. The point where the track leaves the golf course gives lovely views over the countryside on the edge of north Leeds.
There are five stiles to cross along the way.
