Itinerary description
Enjoy fine views of the At-Bashi ridge on the approach to Central Asia's highest waterfall, the 300m+ Shaar cataract. If making the journey on foot, break it into two days with an overnight at the friendly yurt camp about halfway from the village of Bash-Kaiyndy. Distance and elevation measurements represent a round-trip journey.

Beautiful waterfall that sits off the main road from Bash-Kayindi to Ozgorush. I was there two weeks ago, and there is already a sign at the road (18 kilometers to the waterfall). Also, in the works to repair the road that can shorten your way that leads to the horseshoe bend from where you can hike, it shortens the trail considerably. Also, this trail can be done on horseback in about hour hours.
