Trail was well marked, however particular highlights, such as Natural Bridge, etc. weren't marked at all. Trail signage was lacking. Spoke with park naturalist and he advised that there is a project to redo all trail signage.
Ann walked up on a copperhead (not unexpected) that headed towards her, which caused her to perform an excellent about face. Snake was really not interested in us, as most snakes are and went about its way.
Can you find the copperhead?

The west side of trail is easier as there aren't as many rocks to walk over on the trail. There is also a nice spot to rest or grab a snack under a rock bluff.

We thought this was turtle rock but it isn't. Come to find out turtle rocks of rather large boulders/rocks that have segments on their surface much like a turtle shell. https://www.wikiloc.com/outdoor-trails/seven-hollows-trail-at-petit-jean-sp-19964076#wp-19964079/photo-12491516
We plan on going to this park at the end of October 2019 Did y’all tent camp
Stayed in lodge. Many years ago we stayed in a cabin, only because it was pouring down rain and didn't want to set up tent in rain. We hiked in rain, and it was a memorable experience. Hopefully the weather will cooperate with y'all and you can see some color change. It is a neat park.
