Itinerary description
A superb and extremely diversified trail through a fantastic vegetation over tracks for all tastes. The trail starts at the amazing Talasnal village, one of the 3 Aldeias de Xisto (Schist Villages) you will find, being the other two Chiqueiro and the beautiful Candal.
You might want to skip the loop which starts at Catarredor and head directly to Candal. What happened there was I tried to follow another trail that led me down a harsh steep slope towards the river. Unfortunately I could not find any passage through the dense bush and decided to go up again before an accident happened. I was alone and had no mobile connection. But if I got you curious enough there is no harm in doing the loop as long as you watch out. It will certainly push your muscles.
This really is a great trail.
