Itinerary description
Enter the woods sometimes getting out of trail into a rural world, where terraces are still in use as a beautiful and primitive way of gaining platforms on the slopes for agricultural purposes. The vegetation is varied but unfortunately with a lot of eucalyptus trees taking slowly over the landscape. Some of the villages will challenge your architectonic imagination with its stone buildings and a flair taken out of a distant past.
I can't say I remember an abundance of fauna, on the contrary, but the many and a few truly beautiful butterflies where a reason of joy.
I named it '7 ALDEIAS' (7 VILLAGES) because you pass through or near by seven villages. All in all a very enjoyable trail, but don't expect many eye catching wide views.
