Itinerary description
Fantastic trail , the « black ridge » trail !!
From Shilla Stay hotel, take metro 1 hour , stop at Gupabal , then take bus 704 or 720 or 8772 (?) 20 min . Stop at Bukhansan (in fact follow people with bag back and trekking equipment !! ) Start at entrance of Bukhansan national park , after 2 kms turn right for the black trail. Most interesting even if some passages are tough. Hike to several peaks, plenty of nice views of Seoul !! Many people enjoy picnics ! Then at junction turn left (you can continue to Daenammun but I didn’t go , I turn left then always goes down to the start point. A MUST STOP at the river swimming pool every 300 meters !! Refreshing a lot ! Clean water . Many of them alone the river . Either at the start or end you can but mountain equipment (shoes , gloves, shirts, are reasonable prices). Nice trail I recommend it !! I met one Korea guy was my tour guide for several kms !! He knows all
Mountains names !! Very hot weather, high humidity, normal for July !! After effort , you can enjoy pancakes, Cass bear and/or Sujo !!
