Itinerary description
A two day and one night hike that we started at the western side of the national park and ended on the eastern side of the park where the cable car is. We stayed at the 희운각 shelter, which you will have to book in advance.
There were no parts of the hike that were overly difficult, though there were a few steep areas. I think this route is much better to go to the peak over starting from the Osaek information center which is basically two hours of stairs to the peak with no views. This route will bring you up to a ridgeline that you will follow and gives you some pretty incredible views. From the peak (대청봉) to the 희운각 shelter has some pretty steep areas going down, but nothing crazy. From the 희운각 shelter to 비선대 is not difficult and is very beautiful.
