Itinerary description

The trail takes you to top of the Tugela Falls, at 940m, the 2nd tallest on earth (newest measurements put it at 980m which, if accepted, will make it the tallest on earth). Difficult if you are unfit, otherwise moderate. You climb to above 3000m. Dangerous if caught by mist on the top of the Amphitheatre, as part of the trail is on rocky surface where there are no trail or footprints visible. You have to climb two chain ladders, in total about 30m high to reach the top of the Amphitheatre.
