Itinerary description

Lovely lovely loop starting in Malga Sebe (if you don't parking here, just go further up the road to Trattoria Gabiola or Casara Asnicar and start from there) passing Rifugio Cesare Battisti (CAI Valdagno) (from 1 oct open only Saturday & Sunday - reservation needed).
The path is very well signed with signs "Sentiero dei grandi Alberi" or CAI num 120 to Rifugio C. Battisti.
You can even get up with the car all the way to the rifugio, but then you would miss all the beauty of the hike.
Lovey huge beech trees and the path is below the Piccoli Dolomiti Vicentini - The Tre Croci chain, in a sort of amphitheater. The view of the peaks of Tre Croci Chain - Carega group - Sengio Alto chain and the Pasubio Massif is incredible.
Please note that during Autumn & Winter the path is almost only in shadow, it can be slippery and icy.
I highly recommend this hike.

Detour to Rif. Cesare Battisti

Pay attention in this detour, the path has been swept away by falling rocks, so to by pass you have to either climb up around a huge rock(using ropes) or use the chains passing under the same huge rock. Nothing difficult or dangerous but pay attention, specially during winter time, you might find ice. .
