Sentier Viticole des Grands Crus

This is an almost complete track for the Sentier viticole des Grands Crus except for the final part around Benwhir and Mittlewhir that are the parts less interesting of the tour. The highlights are obviously the Grand Crus, the wonderful views, Zellenberg, Hunawhir, and above all Riquewhir. This said Beblenheim is also beautiful, but my feeling is that the route misses the best of it... Even in a cold foggy day of the end of November, with the leaves mostly gone this is a spectacular trail not to be missed. This is a trail highlighted on "1001 hikes to do before you die" and Lonely Planet hiking guide to France for a good reason. Loved it, highly recommend it. Direct entry to my favourites!!!
