Itinerary description

South coast falls and other sights. Took a bus in to Souillac so we could leave the cars at the end of the trail. Long walk through the town and then through cane fields to the first waterfall. Couldn't go in this one as it was all run off from the fields- supposedly they use waste water/ animal waste. Although the waterfall was nice, it also smelled terrible. I'd skip this one.

Saw many huge sea turtles from the viewpoints, I'd start there.

Then down to the natural pool and the falls down below. Very nice. Walked along a driftwood and trash strewn beach to come up by La Rouche qui Pleure and Gris Gris beach. Finished in the beach/park back in town.

Mostly well worn route and flat, with some descents and limited climbs. Relaxing day.
