Itinerary description
Lovely trail through woodland and up to open areas on the flank if the volcano. Great choice to escape the crowds on other busy trails in the area. We had it to ourselves.
Good gravel road to where this trail starts. After that steeper and rougher but with a 4x4 you could drive to the park boundary and save perhaps 90min walking.
