Itinerary description

Roundtrip up the mountain from Banos de San Juan 4km from las terazzas. with a great view on top and then back and around it along the other side. The way up (400m) takes 45 minutes and is steep the whole way.. But nothing scary and the whole way is in shades. So just rest on the way and you will have no problems. The good thing is that after the climb all the rest is easy downhill. There are no signposts, but with wikiloc the route is easy to find. So you really don’t need a guide with wikiloc. Before the last 4km there is a place to drink coffee (homegrown) and get a fruit dish.

Walking time is 4 hours and not three.
It is possible to stay at banos de San Juan in simple small cottages on stilts in great natural surrounding. There is a restaurant for good and drinks.
